DANE WORKFORCE HOUSING FUND

The Dane Workforce Housing Fund was started to help create new Affordable Workforce Housing units in Dane County. Fund I Invested $10.6 million into 9 projects in Dane County, helping create 747 units of affordable housing that will remain affordable for at least 15 years.

Fund II is actively investing in workforce housing projects in Dane County.

Structure of Investments

Loans are from $500K to $2,500,000 per project with an average of $20k per unit.

Rates are priced at a spread over the 10-year Treasury bond yield, 30-35 year amortization.

Loans are subordinate only to the primary source of capital (and ahead of government sources).

Our Investments

Dane Workforce Housing Fund I Investors, all local employers, helped to create 747 new units of affordable workforce housing in Dane County!

Dane Workforce Housing Fund II investors have helped to create 630 new units of affordable workforce housing, with 247 completed in 2026 and another 383 actively under construction!
